Clay Guida vs. Nate Diaz
And the Excitement Begins

With Clay Guida against Nate Diaz, this is the prime candidate for fight of the night. Should be a great way to kick off the PPV broadcast. Both fighters like to set a high pace.

Guida likes to use his wrestling to put his opponent on the mat and keep him there. It’s not always pretty but he does it such a high pace that it’s usually exciting to watch.

Nate Diaz on the other hand has great submissions and is very comfortable working off his back. It will be interesting to see if Guida will be hesitant to take this fight to the ground. At the very least he should not dive into a take down as quickly as he usually does. Nate loves a war, just like his brother Nick does. He has the same problem of throwing technique out the window while letting himself get cut up in the process.

Luckily for him Guida is not known for having great striking. This is a really hard fight to call. I’ll call Clay to win because I think he can do enough to push the pace for fifteen minutes while squirming his way out of submission attempts. However, we all know who the real winners are...
