Dan Henderson vs. Michael Bisping
After their thrilling rivalry on the Ultimate Fighter, the two coaches finally get their hands on one another. Sadly, this will be a MMA contest and not a tennis match. Having said that, Dan Henderson will be looking to “serve” a heavy beating to Michael Bisping. We can all be thankful that Dan Henderson puts a lot more energy into his fights than he does his reality show persona. His strategy may have been to give Bisping as little motivation as possible. Of course, we all know that Bisping can get mad over just about anything. Putting the reality show antics (or lack thereof) aside, this is a big test for the UK poster boy. Michael has had a lot of trouble with talented wrestlers, as seen with his fights with Rashad Evans and Matt Hamill. It’s no wonder he’s been kept away from takedown specialists in his middleweight run. At UFC 100, his win streak at 185 may come to an end. Dan may not have the fastest hands in the world. However he does have a very durable chin. That just means he can do a bit of striking while waiting for the right opportunity to shoot for a takedown. All the Bisping-haters may want to see a KO, but they should hope that Dan doesn’t start brawling with him. If Henderson uses the same strategy he used when he beat Rich Franklin, he’ll get the victory. Most people would agree that Michael Bisping is no Rich Franklin.
