Dana White vs. GLAAD

After years of profanity-laced interviews Dana White has finally gotten himself in trouble. All it took was one “f” word – and I’m not talking about his favorite one. He used a word that is considered an insult towards homosexuals. This insult was directed towards people that helped to do a report on the UFC which Dana felt used bad information to attack the UFC.

To no one’s surprise, GLAAD (gay and lesbian alliance against defamation) has called out Mr. White for his choice of word. Dana promptly apologized (a move unheard of from the UFC kingpin) via a video posted on youtube. The upcoming documentary on his role with the UFC has been cancelled. Allegedly there will be no more video blogs. It has also been said that Dana will be dealing with the media a lot less than he has in the past.

So, the question out of all this is - are we GLAAD that Dana White is gone?
