James Wilks vs. Matt Brown
James Wilks looked dominant in his victory over DaMarques Johnson. In doing so, he defeated the best that the sub-par team USA (of the Ultimate Fighter 9) had to offer. This fight will go a long way in determining how good Wilks really is. There won't be many people on his bandwagon until he establishes himself post-reality show. We'll hope for his sake he doesn't pull an Amir Sadollah. Wilks doesn't have the lovable charm that Amir does, so he'll have to pull his weight as an actual fighter. Matt Brown didn't even make it to the finals of season 7 of the Ultimate Fighter. However he's one of those guys that was better off not having all the extra pressure put on him. Instead, he's gained popularity by being gritty and exciting. This should be a fun fight to watch. I like Matt Brown here, as he's got a lot more UFC experience. Plus, he's got enough submission defense to deal with Wilks' ground game. Brown is also the more effective striker. Let's hope he doesn't underestimate the UK guy like all of the other Americans did!
