Mark Bocek Defeats Joe Brammer

Apparently, the biggest story coming out of this match was Joe Brammer’s choice of clothing. Hoelzer Reich apparel uses various German symbols that are closely related to Nazism. If by that logic you mean they’re German in origin, therefore they must be Hitler-approved.

I’m pretty sure Joe Brammer isn’t a racist. At least there’s nothing that his freaking clothing sponsor proves. Last time I checked the Iron Cross is not the equivalent of a Swastika.

So why the heck can there be “Brown Pride” tattooed on someone’s skin, but another guy’s shirt can’t loosely showcase his heritage?

Never mind. I’m letting the facts get in the way of a good story.

Oh yea, there was a fight here. Mark Bocek won it in decisive fashion. The highlight was seeing Brammer tap to a standing rear naked choke. It was straight out of Matt Hughes’s highlight reel.

So, give props to Bocek. He took out another pesky rookie looking to climb the UFC ladder.
