The results of all of these MMA fights are already in, but check out my “before” opinions on recent and not-so-recent events from our beloved UFC, and some of those other adorable little promotions. This is the permanent home for my prophecies from previous mixed martial arts shows:

On November 14 in Manchester England, Randy Couture will take on Brandon Vera. This will be the first time Randy has fought at 205 since 2006. UFC 100: Brock Gets Angry
UFC 100 is slated for July 11 in Las Vegas with a main event of Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir fighting to determine who will be the undisputed heavyweight champion. UFN 17: Lauzon vs. Stephens

Affliction 2: Fedor vs. Arlovski January 24 – Affliction is back, with Fedor battling a worthy opponent, Andre Arlovski. The other Noguiera, Josh Barnett, “Babalu” and Matt Lindland for another music-and-mayhem marathon.
WEC 38: Varner vs. Cerrone January 25 - In the miniature UFC, the lightweight champion Jamie Varner defends his belt against Donald Cerrone. And Urijah Faber is facing off again with Jens Pulver. These will be some exciting mma fights.
UFC 93: Henderson vs. Franklin January 17 – Dan Henderson takes on Rich Franklin who’s looking to establish himself at 205 to avoid running up against Anderson Silva for awhile! And Shogun Rua is hoping to avenge a past loss to Mark Coleman.
UFC 92: Griffin vs. Evans December 27 - Forest Griffin is defending his light heavyweight belt against Rashad Evans. Rampage takes on Wanderlei Silva, hoping for revenge for Silva's two victories in previous PRIDE mma fights. And the two coaches from TUF 8 face off for the Interim Heavyweight Championship. Just the sort of stacked card to release some post-Christmas tension!
TUF 8 Finale December 13 – At the TUF 8 Finale, who will be the next lightweight and light heavyweight Ultimate Fighters? This will be the final shakedown for Team Mir and Team Nogueira. We just pray that Junie Browning won't be in the show!
UFC Fight For The Troops December 10 – UFC fundraises for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund with free mma fights on Spike TV. Josh Koscheck is confirmed.
UFC 91: Couture vs. Lesnar November 15 - Yes, we finally get to see Randy Couture back inside the octagon against “The Next Big Thing” Brock Lesnar. To quote The Simpsons: If you don’t watch this event you better be dead or in jail…and if you’re in jail – break out!
UFC 90: Silva vs. Cote October 25 - Everybody say a prayer for our second favorite French-Canadian warrior as he takes on the monster that is Anderson Silva. Replacing the injured Diego Sanchez, Josh Koschek will be battling Thiago Alves.
UFC 89: Bisping vs. Leben October 18 - The UK’s favorite son Michael Bisping takes on Chris Leben. It’s not the biggest main event you could hope for but it’s in England so we get the obligatory Bisping showcase against a relatively beatable opponent.
UFC 88: Liddell vs. Evans September 6 - Evans is undefeated and much younger, but does he have the skill and judgment to beat the Iceman? And good friends collide in the Franklin vs. Hamill match up...
