About the Show
The best part about tonight is that now both champions, GSP and BJ Penn will defend their titles in their own respective weight classes. And we may finally see perennially overlooked contender Lyoto Machida finally get a title shot. Dana White said it’s hard to stay undefeated in the UFC. Apparently it’s even harder to stay undefeated and not get a title shot. If Keith Jardine can get a KO over Rampage I’ll be convinced that absolutely anything can happen in this sport.

If you want a rating of some sort I’d say B+. The first couple of fights were a bit of a letdown because of the huge hype coming into this show. It would have been nice to see at least one (exciting) prelim fight. However we were sent home happy (or at least I and the rest of Canada were) so I can’t complain.

On a side note - I wish all the best to Anderson Silva on destroying another meager challenger in Montreal.
