UFC 96:
Rampage Jackson vs.
Keith Jardine

Update: Click here for the UFC 96 Fight Results

On March 7, at UFC 96, Rampage Jackson fights Keith Jardine. No black on black battles yet, as both fighters have to wait another round before a title shot.

The Official Fight Card:
Main Card Bouts:
Quinton Jackson vs. Keith Jardine - Light Heavyweight – Prediction
Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Shane Carwin - Heavyweight – Prediction
Matt Brown vs. Pete Sell - Welterweight – Prediction
Matt Hamill vs. Mark Munoz - Light Heavyweight – Prediction
Gray Maynard vs. Jim Miller - Lightweight – Prediction

Preliminary Bouts:
Kendall Grove vs. Jason Day - Middleweight
Tim Boetsch vs. Jason Brilz - Light Heavyweight
Brandon Vera vs. Mike Patt - Light Heavyweight
Tamdan McCrory vs. Ryan Madigan - Welterweight
Shane Nelson vs. Aaron Riley - Lightweight

Start here: Who will get the next title shot? For sure Rampage if he wins, but Jardine doesn’t have the same guarantee.

About the Show
On the prelims are Brandon Vera and TUF3 winner Kendall Grove. Damn, this is a cruel business. Dana will be watching these two like a teacher with his red pen in hand. In other words, if these two don’t make the grade they’ll find themselves expelled. (Hmm, not the strongest metaphor…)

But, do watch the fights if you hope to experience some actual entertainment. Rampage and Keith are almost guaranteed to put on a good show. If Rampage wins we can expect to see a shot of Lyoto Machida sobbing in the audience. That alone could be worth the price of admission.
