About the Show
UFC 96 was a great show to watch. Even though the Buck-eyes were quick to bust out the boo-bids, nothing on the card deserved it. A finish in the main event would have provided a little more satisfaction to some fans. I for one was impressed to see Jardine survive till the end.

Most fascinating to come out of the main event was the news that Rampage may not get the title shot after all. There’s only a 2-month gap between this fight and the one he potentially has at UFC 98. If he goes through with it that makes 3 fights in approximately 5 months. It’s been said that if he declines they’ll put Lyoto Machida in against Rashad Evans. There’s hope for Machida yet!
